Building you up to the GOOD work you are called to throughout your community
As your coach my desire is to consider ways to build you up in your strengths to the good work you are called to do throughout your community. As Donald Clifton once said, when you discover your talents you begin to discover your calling. When you invest in those talents to become strengths, and begin using those strengths, you fulfill your calling.
My story is unique, involving seminary, international missions, new church plants, with a great mix of the corporate world. As I discovered my own talents through Gallup’s Clifton Strengths, I realized I was empowered to succeed in a variety of work environments. In other words, my calling (from a great Greek word, "kaleo") had to do with the positive application of my strengths instead of a job title.
I am passionate about coaching people to understand how the calling in your life begins with what is right about you; i.e., your natural talents. I have coached both teens and adults in one on one coaching sessions, or in group workshops. Regardless, my strategy begins by interpreting your Clifton Strengths results, diving into coaching sessions to understand how your talents have been influencing your patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving, then carving a plan to aim those talents at your goals for providing a good work in your community. My clients include high school students, church staffs, and chiropractic teams.
