I help individuals and teams identify and harness their strengths to achieve their maximum potential.
I am energized by working with people who want to continually grow and improve. As a coach, I will act as your partner to help you use your talents and strengths to establish systems to reach your goals.
I am a retired athlete and I competed at the collegiate level at UCLA as well as internationally with the U.S. National water polo team. I understand what it takes to be a valuable teammate as well as how to win and lose graciously. This includes how to bounce back from defeat or failure as well as how to resist complacency in any area of your life. As a coach, I will act as your partner to help you prepare for and identify opportunities that will help you reach your goals.
I was born and raised in Southern California but I have lived in Mississippi, Australia, Europe, and sub-Saharan Africa, which is where I am currently based and also where I served in the U.S. Peace Corps. I have professional training in public health with domestic and international experience working primarily in the reproductive health field. I know what it's like leading a small non-profit, where resources are limited, staff are overworked, and every decision seems like an emergency. As a coach, I will offer non-profit professionals an empathetic ear and ask compassionate yet practical questions to help guide your development and reach your goals.
I am also passionate about working with youth as well as with youth-serving adults. I was very fortunate growing up to have a number of supportive adults in my life, including coaches and teachers, who helped shape my character so that I may achieve my goals and dreams. As a coach, I will help young people identify and embrace their unique talents and I will equip youth-serving adults with tools and skills to help them better serve the young people they work with.
