I like to call myself a People Strategist. Nothing pleases me more than to help others understand and appreciate their authentic self to foster better human connections. With this knowledge we cultivate community, and ultimately cultures that are leveraging everyone’s unique talents. When you have authenticity and vulnerability, you create trust that breeds communication and increased performance. Everybody wins. It truly is a simple concept, be you.
Every single one of us has a beautiful gift to give. Leaders (teachers, coaches, parents, managers, business owners, friends) need to understand each human for their valuable contribution to the team (class, business, friendship, family). Only then are we well rounded, only then will we thrive, only then will we achieve true human connection.
Here’s the difficult part- We are not taught to appreciate our uniqueness. Most do not even know how we are special. How can we be our best or give our best, when we do not know what our best is? This is how I can help. Nothing pleases me more than to help others understand, appreciate, and apply their Strengths in every aspect of their life. This is where the People Strategy begins. Together we will devise a strategy for you to achieve true human connections, to appreciate one another, accept our differences, embrace our Strengths, and be the best you possibly can. Once you are the best you, then we can be the best team, the best class, the best school, the best company, the best community, the best culture, the best world. And that is what we need, people being their best self and achieving true human connection. That is what I am passionate about.

One that deeply cares and wants to have an impact on the next generation. Administrators, teachers, board members, volunteers, athletic coaches, camp counselors, businesses that employ youth, parents, grandparents, mentors, tutors, literally anyone who wants to better understand a young-adult and, in-turn, help them understand, appreciate, and apply their unique Strengths to achieve their ultimate potential. One that is a young adult (14-24) wanting guidance to better understand who they are, navigate genuine human connections, appreciate themself as well as their differences with others, and apply their unique talents to be happy and feel successful in all they do.
As a Gallup-Certified® Strengths coach using the Clifton StrengthsFinder 2.0® assessment, I have coached thousands of people in using a Strengths-based approach to help enable effectiveness, increase productivity, and find their happy. I am a teacher at heart, and have spent the past 25 years educating, managing, and leading people of all ages to improve their performance through innovative professional development and strategic talent solutions. Raised in Boise Idaho, I dream of one day living in Ireland. I love to travel, outdoor adventures, live music, my three daughters, and helping others find their power within.
I recognize, appreciate, and share with listeners, that leadership is a moment-to-moment choice and not about title, tenure or position. Leadership is for everyone, every day. It's how we should live our life and I wholeheartedly believe in the phrase "Lead by example." I am passionate about inspiring people to lead at every level. I consider myself a builder of happiness in the workplace and have an unwavering belief that it is possible for everyone to love what they do. Business begins and ends with people. This truth allows me to make shifts in culture that positively affect not only the business itself, but the greater community. When teams are able to communicate with authenticity and trust, high performance is a by product. Finding what individuals are the best at and creating teams that leverage those strengths on a daily basis is what I do best. Cultivating internal leaders, partnership alignments, professional wellness, performance coaching, succession planning, and ultimately creating cultures where employees thrive is my ultimate goal.
