I provide strengths-based coaching for active and retired military and their families, college students, non-profit & corporate organizations.
Daughter. Wife. Mother. Educator. Coach. Advocate.
I am currently an Associate Director for Undergraduate Programs in the Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati and Owner of Jennifer Lewis Coaching. Helping others embrace their past, present, and future is one of my passions. Through academic advising, and peer educator training & development; I guided over 500 individuals in their quest for strengths development.
I earned a Master of Education from Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids, MI (2007) and a Bachelor of Arts in French from Aquinas College, Grand Rapids, MI (2004). I started my career in higher education way back in 2000 when engaging in Student Life and Alumni Affairs as an undergraduate student. Since then, my commitment to student success is evident though my daily work and coaching.
Coaching with my Top 5; I bring a unique perspective to conversations and workshops. With coaching experience for both individuals and teams, I provide personal/professional coaching and team based workshops/retreats. Connect with me to discuss how I can help you reach your goals!
At home, I work with my husband to raise our two young girls. I love the four seasons, cooking, and triathlons. When possible, I'm outdoors taking in the world around me. Once I saw how my Top 5 can influence and impact my daily life, it was like someone hit the reset button; and I began to have better relationships personally and professionally. For me, this was a game changer and I want to listen to your story and help guide you on your journey.
My goal is to help you discover your greatest talents and how you can use them for maximum performance in your personal and professional life.
I work with anyone yearning for self-discovery; particularly those with military ties. Why do I work with members of the armed forces (active duty, retired, and their families?) After my Dad’s passing in 2017, I reflected upon who he really was and what was important to him. Many of his stories were from his service days in Germany. He helped women and children escape Communism and enter “free” Germany. I’ll never know the extent of his work, there was a lot that went unspoken. Out of profound respect for military members, my coaching started as a way to give honor to Dad. I am involved in a Veteran’s organization that helps ease the transition from military to civilian life through physical sport and activity. In this group, I’ve made some great friends and heard more amazing stories.
I want to listen to your story and help you be your best self.
