I am passionate about helping children, teens and families blossom into a whole person healthy lifestyles that has identifying strengths as a cornerstone element!
Hi! I'm Karen Eynon and I am passionateabout helping families grow into whole and healthy people. Health and wellness is established and nurtured in both the young and the young at heart. It connects all aspects of life, from what we eat, how we move, how we connect with others, to the strengths each of us brings to life.
I have been working with children and families in health care for more than 30 years. It is my experience that we thrive and grow best in an authentic and positive partnership and this has been one of my strengths as a pediatric nurse practitioner. I have helped children, adolescents, and parents pinpoint areas of individual strength and talent and have nurtured growth in these areas. Examples of growth areas include nutrition, physical activity, sleep, healthy relationship building, and stress management all of which promote overall wellness and health. I've also supported student/athletes to discover ways to improve performance through good nutrition, recovery, and hydration. Another exciting area of growth is helping adolescents discover their innate strengths and proclivities in order to focus these strengths toward finding direction for vocation and moving into adulthood. Parenting is one of the most rewarding and yet at time challening aspect of family life. Assisting parents to enhance their children's wellness through Strength-based parenting by identifying their own strengths, the strengths of their children is a cornerstone element of overall wellbeing .
Wellness coaching helps families develop sustainable healthy lifestyles that foster well being and health and allows each person to thrive in their unquie strengths. Healthy lifestyles practiced over a lifetime is a key element to a full and happy life.
