Whether you work in Corporate America or on a Board of Directors, you're probably on a team of people with VERY different lenses, experiences, working styles, and communication styles than yourself. It can often feel like you're spinning your wheels, instead of being able to focus on your goal, project, mission, product/service, or cause. I've been there, and it was frustrating to me that leadership did not take into account the HUMAN element.
This is why I coach.
This is why I want to bring a Strengths lens to you and your team -- one that unifies, creates a common language, and focuses on the unique value that each team member brings. I have created interactive workshops that spark a new trajectory to increase engagement (and therefore effectiveness). My clients have told me that they come out of the workshop knowing themselves better and understanding each other on a higher-functioning level. And most of all, they had fun in the process.
I've learned that people want to be seen. They want to be able to focus on what they do well -- but they don't always have language to understand or describe that. With a background in Market Research, I've made it my job to listen to and understand people for over 15 years. I take pride in customizing each workshop I lead, because there is no such thing as a cookie-cutter team with cookie-cutter problems. I create non-intimidating environments for individuals to develop, and it shows on the smiles of my clients!
