About Chris

I help people grow in strengths, workplace engagement, and self-awareness using CliftonStrengths and the Enneagram.

I inspire personal and professional growth so you can love your life and work. To do this, I write and speak on employee engagement, self-awareness, strengths, and coaching. I'm the Chief People Officer for EnergyCAP, Inc., where I created an employee success program to drive engagement. I'm also a Penn State Learning Partner for strengths. I write the Life and Work blog and the Faith blog at ChrisHeinz.com.

I hold coaching certifications from Gallup and the International Coach Federation. My writing has been featured as "Best of the Week" by "Human Resources Today." In addition, I'm also the author of the “Made To Pray” book and prayer assessment, which helps people find their prayer strengths. I live with my wife and three children in central PA.

Short Personal Bio

As the Chief People Officer for EnergyCAP, Inc., I introduced an innovative employee success program that increased employee engagement by 52% in 16 months. It has been featured at the international CliftonStrengths Summit. Active in my local SHRM chapter, I advise other human resources professionals in the areas of employee engagement, self-awareness, strengths, and coaching.

I have been certified to coach by the International Coach Federation (ICF), Professional Christian Coaching Institute (PCCI), and Gallup Organization. In addition, I'm a certified RightPath facilitator for understanding behavorial traits. I specialize in coaching clients around strengths, workplace engagement, and self-awareness using CliftonStrengths and the Enneagram. Soon I'll be certified in the Enneagram.

An energizing and fun communicator, I write and speak on strengths, self-awareness, employee engagement, and coaching. I'm a Penn State Learning Partner on strengths, have spoken at the international CliftonStrengths Summit, and lead workshops around CliftonStrengths, RightPath behavorial traits, and employee engagement.
