We are all familiar with the phrase "When a door closes, a window opens." For many, it’s just rhetoric - usually from some well-meaning friend or family member. For me, it is the absolute truth that led me to become an inspired and transformational coach.
I’d always been that kid in whom others could confide and I remember being astonished when people would share their fears and insecurities. I saw (and see) so much in people – things they don’t see are haven’t ever realized. And I told them so!
Fast forward to college where I majored in Communications and then onto a career in Advertising and Marketing. Somewhere along the way, I realized that the part of my job that I loved the most – and where I was most successful – was in relationship building and talent development. In fact, it sometimes felt as if I was the only person who realized how critical the people were to the success of the organization.
So, in 2016 I left a 29-year career in Marketing and Advertising and decided to do what I loved more than anything and I became a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and Consultant.
I was first introduced to Strengths in 2002 when I was part of a team who brought it to the Advertising agency where I worked. I fell in love. I worked with Strengths for the next 14 years and when I left the agency world in 2016, I knew that it was my calling.
My consulting and coaching focus is in three areas:
1. Leadership (Individuals): I work with leaders of organizations to understand their talents and help them turn those talents into Strengths. Each client is different and requires different approaches. Strengths is the cornerstone, along with creating positive habits and incorporating the principles of Emotional Intelligence. 2. Leadership (Teams): The very best leaders know their strengths and their limitations. The most effective leadership teams are made up of individuals who complement each other and are not only self-aware but know how to self-regulate. The beauty about working with Leadership teams is the positive effect the work can have on an entire organization. 3. Team dynamics is one of my passions and I have been successful at working to identify team strengths and how people can not only be aware of what others bring to the table but accept and embrace the differences. Born in NYC, I grew up in Iran, went to boarding school in England and then France before returning to the US to attend Syracuse University, earning a BA in French and an MA in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Citizenship. I have been a competitive fencer for over 40 years, have won 3 over 40/50 US National Championships in Men’s Foil and have represented the USA 6 times at the over 50 World Championships.
I draw from my combined experiences to work towards developing your success in life and work!
Over the years, I have found that focusing on 2 simple things drive me:

I’ve followed a similar path to make my own discoveries in my search to be more, do more and have more. I’m a Certified Coach and Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming. And in 2015, I was certified in strengths application through Strengths Strategy. Through the process of my own journey, I’ve had amazing shifts in my own life and have been able to connect the pieces to who I really am and what I need in order to be my very best.

His company specializes in coaching, training, and consulting organizations from the private and public sectors that are interested in growing their Millennial and Generation Z employment engagement, as well as team-building, interpersonal skills, and leadership development using a Gallup StrengthsFinder approach.
Santor has published domestic and international articles about Millennials in the workplace, mentoring, and leadership and is currently writing a book (to be released next year) about working with Generation Z.

In addition to Santor’s coaching and training experience, he is an MBA professor who teaches subjects such as leadership, diversity in the workplace, marketing, management, global supply chain, and entrepreneurship. Lastly, Santor has corporate experience beyond academia, more recently working as a project manager in Shanghai, China for Walt Disney Imagineering and a supply chain manager for a NASA Center.
My mission in life is to help individuals to identify their inner talents and their needs, enabling them to achieve their goals in a way that is engaging and fulfilling. I focus on empowering individuals to ask for what they want and to be intentional about their goals, thereby increasing the opportunities to achieve personal, team and ultimately business success.

I grew up in Delaware and lived in Chicago for four years after graduate school. I transferred to San Francisco in 2000 to be closer to my brother. I currently live in San Francisco with my husband, daughter and two cats. I volunteer regularly at my daughter’s school and the SF SPCA. As a former triathlete and runner, I am frequently active and outdoors, enjoying the beauty of the area in which I am so fortunate to live.

I grew up in New York City the daughter of two extraordinary parents who worked for IBM their whole careers. My father Baird was a futurist, developer, and thought-leader for the company who spoke for large audiences around the world. I was privileged with an incredible, rich childhood full of diversity, learning and global experiences.
I ventured out to Oregon in 1990 to attend the University of Oregon and my family moved to Portland shortly after. My first job was as a Recruiter for the university using my strength in communication and woo. I gave presentations to high school kids around the country and coached applicants 1:1 in my office on the college admission process. It was exhilarating but paid peanuts!
I stepped up my game and completed a masters degree in organization development moving to Washington DC for the best program. Served as a Strategic Change Consultant for Pricewaterhouse Coopers which I fondly remember as my "finishing school"
Then came a decade of wonderful work inside healthcare back in Oregon. I was very lucky to work for executives who leveraged my strengths as I excelled at coaching and developing leaders/teams and managing large scale systems change. One vivid memory is scrubbing into an open-heart case to build rapport with a surgeon I was coaching! I rose to serve as the Director of Organization Development & Change Consulting for PeaceHealth.
Since then I have popped in and out of organizations since the clear shift to a Gig Economy -gone are the days of 30 year long careers like my folks.
Today I enjoy a blend of internal and external consulting. The opportunity to serve as the Strengths Evangelist for Portland is a real honor and aligns with my personal values and professional practice. I have a group of local Coaches so I can be an excellent matchmaker for different preferences and situations.
I live in NW Portland with my son Will who is in fourth grade and loves to throw the football with me. I enjoy a fantastic life full of athletic pursuits, charitable work, and socializing with loved ones. I have invested in coaches for myself to manage my weaknesses in Health, Finance, and even Dating.
