As your coach my desire is to consider ways to build you up in your strengths to the good work you are called to do throughout your community. As Donald Clifton once said, when you discover your talents you begin to discover your calling. When you invest in those talents to become strengths, and begin using those strengths, you fulfill your calling.
My story is unique, involving seminary, international missions, new church plants, with a great mix of the corporate world. As I discovered my own talents through Gallup’s Clifton Strengths, I realized I was empowered to succeed in a variety of work environments. In other words, my calling (from a great Greek word, "kaleo") had to do with the positive application of my strengths instead of a job title.
I am passionate about coaching people to understand how the calling in your life begins with what is right about you; i.e., your natural talents. I have coached both teens and adults in one on one coaching sessions, or in group workshops. Regardless, my strategy begins by interpreting your Clifton Strengths results, diving into coaching sessions to understand how your talents have been influencing your patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving, then carving a plan to aim those talents at your goals for providing a good work in your community. My clients include high school students, church staffs, and chiropractic teams.

My name is Travis Guse and my passion as a coach is to empower emerging adults and the organizations they work for to be their best through Strengths-based coaching solutions.
My primary focus is working with organizations that are seeking to better engage both Millennials and now Gen Z for the sake of their mission and purpose. With our growing economy, retaining employees is becoming more challenging for organizations. With more jobs, employees have more choices for work than they did a decade ago. As a result, employers face increasing competition for high-talent performers. Emerging adults are seeking for organizations to invest in their development in a holistic approach both personally as well as professionally. Those organizations that make this a priority will find that emerging adults with be significantly more engaged in their work, especially when they can discover how the best of who they are connects with the organization's mission. Not only that, they will have a better chance of retaining them. To this end I offer Strengths-based leadership development coaching, team-building workshops, training managers to be effective coaches, and assisting in career direction.
As an ICF certified Life and Executive Coach and a Gallup Strengths Coach, I have been coaching individuals and organizations to discover and live out the best of who they are in life since 2008. I also offer ICF certified coach training to raise up internal coaches within organizations. Currently I am earning my doctorate in the field of Coaching with a focus on empowering Millennials to discover and live out their meaning and purpose in life. I have also contracted with government organizations to do Strengths team-building workshops, and currently have SAM & DUNS registration.
I'm excited to help young business professionals and corporate teams reach their greatest potential. As a Strengths Strategy Certified Coach, I am equipped with the tools and skills to help facilitate powerful personal discovery and transformation that leads to higher performance. My goal as a coach is to create a safe space for you to discover how to keep your strengths out of toxicity and in the A+ Zone.
If you are anxious to discover and connect to your unique purpose, leverage your strengths to deepen your impact, and improve your overall well-being and happiness, I want to work with you!

Grow with Strengths - Growing People Growing Companies As an HR professional of a rapidly growing company in 2010, I fell in love with the philosophy of Strengths. I decided to lead the efforts in building a Strengths-based organization and never looked back. I was surprised at some of the things I saw early on in the process. Very quickly, people built strong relationships at work where they gave each other the benefit of the doubt. Over time, they challenged and supported each other more. We wove Strengths into the onboarding, performance systems, and everyday conversations and meetings - people and teams grew stronger, listened more effectively, and asked for help more. We built a culture that was so strong and obvious, both internally and externally. It helped our recruiting and retention. Managers became Coaches for their teams and gave feedback in real time.
What I believe to be true: When we pause to give each other the benefit of the doubt, we open up the opportunity to connect, understand and find the true value in ourselves and others.
I take the time to get to know each individual on the team - and we all dive in together. My style is energetic and thoughtful. I believe that we learn through practice and we have a lot of fun while we’re learning. I’ve been fortunate to do work that I’ve really loved for over 30 years in HR, talent development, coaching, employee engagement, and wellness.
Here's what I do well - please let me know if I can help you and your business. 1. Develop managers into great coaches that win. 2. Build a nimble organization poised for growth and change. 3. Build the culture you want to get the results you want. 4. Keep the great talent that you worked so hard to acquire.
Here's what people are saying about working with me as a coach or facilitator:
Cindy and I worked together from 2013-2017. In that time she exposed me to the wonderful world of StrengthsFinders. It was part of our on-boarding to take the assessment and learn about our strengths. As I learned more about the strengths I have, Cindy was there to help guide me and my team through team building workshops to see how these strengths worked together across the team. Cindy is very knowledgeable in StrengthsFinders and the work we did in her workshop changed the course of our team dynamic for the better. We were able to communicate more kindly to one another and utilize our strengths appropriately in the tasks and projects we were assigned. Cindy's work is beneficial to any team whether they are in rough waters or not. They will come out better than before with Cindy leading the boat.

We are all familiar with the phrase "When a door closes, a window opens." For many, it’s just rhetoric - usually from some well-meaning friend or family member. For me, it is the absolute truth that led me to become an inspired and transformational coach.
I’d always been that kid in whom others could confide and I remember being astonished when people would share their fears and insecurities. I saw (and see) so much in people – things they don’t see are haven’t ever realized. And I told them so!
Fast forward to college where I majored in Communications and then onto a career in Advertising and Marketing. Somewhere along the way, I realized that the part of my job that I loved the most – and where I was most successful – was in relationship building and talent development. In fact, it sometimes felt as if I was the only person who realized how critical the people were to the success of the organization.
So, in 2016 I left a 29-year career in Marketing and Advertising and decided to do what I loved more than anything and I became a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and Consultant.
I was first introduced to Strengths in 2002 when I was part of a team who brought it to the Advertising agency where I worked. I fell in love. I worked with Strengths for the next 14 years and when I left the agency world in 2016, I knew that it was my calling.
My consulting and coaching focus is in three areas:
1. Leadership (Individuals): I work with leaders of organizations to understand their talents and help them turn those talents into Strengths. Each client is different and requires different approaches. Strengths is the cornerstone, along with creating positive habits and incorporating the principles of Emotional Intelligence. 2. Leadership (Teams): The very best leaders know their strengths and their limitations. The most effective leadership teams are made up of individuals who complement each other and are not only self-aware but know how to self-regulate. The beauty about working with Leadership teams is the positive effect the work can have on an entire organization. 3. Organizations with 10-150 people: From my early years of working with Strengths, I have been worked with teams. Team dynamics is one of my passions and I have been successful at working to identify team strengths and how people can not only be aware of what others bring to the table but accept and embrace the differences. I help create highly engaged teams which lead to higher productivity, positivity, and profit.
My 30 years in Marketing and Advertising provide me with a perspective that many companies appreciate because I have first-hand experience of what many of them face daily. Organizations that are highly creative, high-energy and matrixed are among my most successful clients.
I have worked with Marketing, Advertising and PR companies as well as manufacturing, non-profit and higher education. I prefer small and mid-size companies where I can really get the know the people and understand the mission.
My top five Strengths are Harmony, Positivity, Maximizer, Developer, and Connectedness. I love what I do, and I am fortunate to do what I do best every day.
Post-Doctoral Studies in Marketing, Ohio State University Ed.D. in Leadership, Argosy University M.A. in Communication, Ball State University B.A. in Communication, Olivet Nazarene University

Specialties: Trained 600-700 leaders in business & graduate education on their Top Strengths. SAOL certified Executive Coach & Consultant, Rubi Ho Group. Corporate training and team-building. Certified in Fundraising Management, Indiana University, Lily Family School of Philanthropy
My greatest joy as a Maximizer is connecting with and coaching others in a way that challenges and inspires them to become the best version of themselves.
I have coached and mentored individuals and teams for over 25 years. I'm passionate about helping individuals develop their personal goals and working together to develop strategies for you to achieve those goals. With over 25 years of management experience I strive to help individuals become trusted and empowered leaders of others. Being a manager or team leader makes such a dramatic impact on individual contributors. You have the power to make people's jobs enjoyable or miserable. I love to work with new and seasoned managers helping them to develop positive and successful teams. I offer multiple workshops from Leadership Development to Sales Development all based on Clifton Strengths. My workshops are customized for each organization based on their employee development needs. As a Certified Project Management Professional, I work with project managers to develop and strengthen their teams using Clifton Strengths. We talk about ways we can work together to help you understand and develop your unique talents. With over forty years work experience I can say emphatically that knowing my innate talents and strengths has made the biggest impact on my life and is now my calling, both in business and personally. Knowing the how and why of my beliefs, actions, my talents and strengths has empowered me, even at this stage of life. It's never too late to gain insight and elevate one's recognition of self. With twenty-five years experience in design, real estate, sales and marketing, and twenty years in hospitality, I enjoy doing what I do best on a daily basis and I encourage others to do the same. Fifteen+ years working with Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards and my coaching experience with colleagues, clients and friends new and old, I preach life and employee engagement . It leads to customer engagement, working with a purpose and increased revenue. All of my real estate/ hospitality experience lends itself to exceeding the needs and expectations of clients, and customers, serving the community - and isn't this why we are here? To serve others. To transform something that is good to great, from strong to stronger, or to see a need and build a way to provide services needed. Personally I need to have fun along the way, and I lead with connecting others. In the past I've increased profits by over 115%, simply by doing what made sense - connecting, maximizing, having fun, being adaptable and empathetic. It works. And what a world this will be when families, educators, community and civic leaders, business and faith-based congregations can lead their lives from a position of knowing their unique innate talents and strengths.
Do what you love to do best every day. Imagine that. It's possible. Engage in every aspect of your life. Discover and deliberately live your strengths. Discover your talents and Live with purpose. It's my calling to assist you. Authentically. With caring and kindness.
You desire a career that energizes you. You want to do your best every day and be challenged by the work you do. You are either a top performer looking to up your game or someone who isn’t sure what path to take. You may be a manager of top-performing team or one that hasn’t quite gelled. No matter where you fall, I can help you explore what sets you or your team apart.
I am an innovative career coach who can help you discover what makes you different from everyone else. I help you understand what skills you have so you can excel in your current career or confidently make decisions about what your career path should be. I help you understand what skills you (or your team) have so you can excel in your current career or confidently make decisions about what your career path should be.
Together, we focus on what you are doing right, instead of what you are doing wrong. I give you the tools to figure out your natural abilities and recognize when you are using them. I show you how to describe your talents to those you work with and how to consistently apply them toward a goal.
I know what it’s like to be amazing at your job and still feel like you’re not doing the work you love. For more than 20 years, I worked for a high-tech company managing people, projects, websites and events. I built my career year-by-year, taking on new challenges, learning new skills and continually asking my boss what’s next?
Then, a few years ago, during a team building event I was introduced to the Gallup Strengths Methodology. And I discovered my superpowers.
After being certified, I began to mentor those who worked for me in a new way. I probed about what they liked to do - about what sets them on fire. I assigned them to projects that would highlight their strengths and encouraged them to tackle day-to-day assignments in a style that fit them, not the structure that had been developed.
I watched them soar. I watched them move through confusion about what they’d been told they do well to enlightenment about what they innately knew how to do. I saw them grow confident in applying their strengths and realize their own career paths.
Soon, I began to mentor family and friends in the same way. Again, and again, I saw people move from confusion to understanding. I saw light bulb after light bulb turn on. I saw sparks of happiness and energy where before there was complacency. And I loved it!
At the end of 2016, I left my corporate position to start my own career coaching business. I get to use my superpowers of relationship building, influencing and strategic thinking to show people that finding a career they love is possible.
I am so inspired to work with people every day who just want to be better. They want to take their career to the next level or have clarity around decisions regarding their career. I give them the tools I was given, guide them to their a-ha moment and then watch them soar.

''I help empower people and organisations to realise their strengths and potential''
Toni is a Gallup trained, and Strengths Network South Pacific accredited, CliftonStrengths coach.
I am currently self-employed and my husband and I co-own a company with offices operation in different regions. I understand the public sector work environment from both team member and managerial perspectives and have worked with, and for, not-for-profit organisations. This varied experience enables me to understand work challenges and drivers across a range of sectors.
I work with business owners, managers and team leaders to develop strengths-based, high-performing teams. I help them to see the big picture and make sound decisions.
I work at my best when I work with the management team to increase their ability to use Strengths and model strengths-based conversations and management with their teams. I equip them to coach and develop their staff to produce the best possible results.
In 2010, I attended a workshop on the Gallup Campus as part of the Special Olympics National Youth Activation Summit. Having taken the CliftonStrengths assessment prior to attending, I was already amazed at how accurate it was and how well it described me. During the workshop I had the opportunity to understand even more about the assessment, about the potential impact, and how it could be used for individuals as well as teams.
Being so impressed by my experience there, I purchased a dozen StrengthsFinder 2.0 books and passed them out to my team at Special Olympics North Carolina. All of my staff and interns took the assessment and we started our journey into being a strengths-based team. We began to work together more effectively and not just meet but surpass goals year after year. After seeing the success with my team, the rest of the Special Olympics North Carolina staff took the assessment as well as the statewide Youth Council.
In 2013 I was one of the first 100 students in Gallup's Accelerated Strengths Coaching class and earned my certification as a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. I've had the pleasure of working with clients of all ages - teens to adults - and all professions - from front line and technical staff to executive teams and boards. In 2018, I was also trained in Employee Engagement using the Q12 assessment and process as well as the Builder Profile 10 for Entrepreneurs.
Moving to Colorado in 2016 I started Pikes Peak Coaching & Consulting to spread the benefits of strengths based teams and coaching to the Pikes Peak Region, Colorado and the rest of the mountain states.

Beliefs of Vision 2-10: - Everyone has God-given talents. - Frustration with self and others is often the result of a misunderstanding of strengths. - Leaders are not born but developed, and this world needs more leaders who work from their strengths. - Self-awareness of talents is just the first step in talents becoming strengths. - Focusing on strengths over weaknesses produces greater results. According to the Corporate Leadership Council production is -26.8% when the focus is on weaknesses. - A well-rounded leader equals an ineffective leader, but a well-rounded team equals production and health. - Organizations can only go as far as the health of their leadership and their teams. Teams that focus on their strengths are 12.5% more productive (Gallup).
