My name is Travis Guse and my passion as a coach is to empower emerging adults and the organizations they work for to be their best through Strengths-based coaching solutions.
My primary focus is working with organizations that are seeking to better engage both Millennials and now Gen Z for the sake of their mission and purpose. With our growing economy, retaining employees is becoming more challenging for organizations. With more jobs, employees have more choices for work than they did a decade ago. As a result, employers face increasing competition for high-talent performers. Emerging adults are seeking for organizations to invest in their development in a holistic approach both personally as well as professionally. Those organizations that make this a priority will find that emerging adults with be significantly more engaged in their work, especially when they can discover how the best of who they are connects with the organization's mission. Not only that, they will have a better chance of retaining them. To this end I offer Strengths-based leadership development coaching, team-building workshops, training managers to be effective coaches, and assisting in career direction.
As an ICF certified Life and Executive Coach and a Gallup Strengths Coach, I have been coaching individuals and organizations to discover and live out the best of who they are in life since 2008. I also offer ICF certified coach training to raise up internal coaches within organizations. Currently I am earning my doctorate in the field of Coaching with a focus on empowering Millennials to discover and live out their meaning and purpose in life. I have also contracted with government organizations to do Strengths team-building workshops, and currently have SAM & DUNS registration.
I'm excited to help young business professionals and corporate teams reach their greatest potential. As a Strengths Strategy Certified Coach, I am equipped with the tools and skills to help facilitate powerful personal discovery and transformation that leads to higher performance. My goal as a coach is to create a safe space for you to discover how to keep your strengths out of toxicity and in the A+ Zone.
If you are anxious to discover and connect to your unique purpose, leverage your strengths to deepen your impact, and improve your overall well-being and happiness, I want to work with you!
As a consultant at VF Corporation (Vans, Timberland, The North Face, etc), I facilitated team-building workshops with executive and retail teams across the US. While the Director of HR & Operations at Safe Harbor Crisis Center, a nonprofit providing advocacy and shelter service to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, I rolled out a strengths-based curriculum and provided one-on-one coaching to advocates and administrative staff. As the Talent Manager at Reckitt Benckiser (Lysol, Mucinex, Durex, etc), I've provided coaching and team-building consulting to cross-functional teams in the CPG industry. As an independent contractor, I've provided coaching and workshop facilitation to individuals and teams all over Utah and North Carolina.

Grow with Strengths - Growing People Growing Companies As an HR professional of a rapidly growing company in 2010, I fell in love with the philosophy of Strengths. I decided to lead the efforts in building a Strengths-based organization and never looked back. I was surprised at some of the things I saw early on in the process. Very quickly, people built strong relationships at work where they gave each other the benefit of the doubt. Over time, they challenged and supported each other more. We wove Strengths into the onboarding, performance systems, and everyday conversations and meetings - people and teams grew stronger, listened more effectively, and asked for help more. We built a culture that was so strong and obvious, both internally and externally. It helped our recruiting and retention. Managers became Coaches for their teams and gave feedback in real time.
What I believe to be true: When we pause to give each other the benefit of the doubt, we open up the opportunity to connect, understand and find the true value in ourselves and others.
I take the time to get to know each individual on the team - and we all dive in together. My style is energetic and thoughtful. I believe that we learn through practice and we have a lot of fun while we’re learning. I’ve been fortunate to do work that I’ve really loved for over 30 years in HR, talent development, coaching, employee engagement, and wellness.
Here's what I do well - please let me know if I can help you and your business. 1. Develop managers into great coaches that win. 2. Build a nimble organization poised for growth and change. 3. Build the culture you want to get the results you want. 4. Keep the great talent that you worked so hard to acquire.
Here's what people are saying about working with me as a coach or facilitator:
Cindy and I worked together from 2013-2017. In that time she exposed me to the wonderful world of StrengthsFinders. It was part of our on-boarding to take the assessment and learn about our strengths. As I learned more about the strengths I have, Cindy was there to help guide me and my team through team building workshops to see how these strengths worked together across the team. Cindy is very knowledgeable in StrengthsFinders and the work we did in her workshop changed the course of our team dynamic for the better. We were able to communicate more kindly to one another and utilize our strengths appropriately in the tasks and projects we were assigned. Cindy's work is beneficial to any team whether they are in rough waters or not. They will come out better than before with Cindy leading the boat.
We are all familiar with the phrase "When a door closes, a window opens." For many, it’s just rhetoric - usually from some well-meaning friend or family member. For me, it is the absolute truth that led me to become an inspired and transformational coach.
I’d always been that kid in whom others could confide and I remember being astonished when people would share their fears and insecurities. I saw (and see) so much in people – things they don’t see are haven’t ever realized. And I told them so!
Fast forward to college where I majored in Communications and then onto a career in Advertising and Marketing. Somewhere along the way, I realized that the part of my job that I loved the most – and where I was most successful – was in relationship building and talent development. In fact, it sometimes felt as if I was the only person who realized how critical the people were to the success of the organization.
So, in 2016 I left a 29-year career in Marketing and Advertising and decided to do what I loved more than anything and I became a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and Consultant.
I was first introduced to Strengths in 2002 when I was part of a team who brought it to the Advertising agency where I worked. I fell in love. I worked with Strengths for the next 14 years and when I left the agency world in 2016, I knew that it was my calling.
My consulting and coaching focus is in three areas:
1. Leadership (Individuals): I work with leaders of organizations to understand their talents and help them turn those talents into Strengths. Each client is different and requires different approaches. Strengths is the cornerstone, along with creating positive habits and incorporating the principles of Emotional Intelligence. 2. Leadership (Teams): The very best leaders know their strengths and their limitations. The most effective leadership teams are made up of individuals who complement each other and are not only self-aware but know how to self-regulate. The beauty about working with Leadership teams is the positive effect the work can have on an entire organization. 3. Organizations with 10-150 people: From my early years of working with Strengths, I have been worked with teams. Team dynamics is one of my passions and I have been successful at working to identify team strengths and how people can not only be aware of what others bring to the table but accept and embrace the differences. I help create highly engaged teams which lead to higher productivity, positivity, and profit.
My 30 years in Marketing and Advertising provide me with a perspective that many companies appreciate because I have first-hand experience of what many of them face daily. Organizations that are highly creative, high-energy and matrixed are among my most successful clients.
I have worked with Marketing, Advertising and PR companies as well as manufacturing, non-profit and higher education. I prefer small and mid-size companies where I can really get the know the people and understand the mission.
My top five Strengths are Harmony, Positivity, Maximizer, Developer, and Connectedness. I love what I do, and I am fortunate to do what I do best every day.
Imagine your best day at work. How does it look? What do you do? How do you feel?
Imagine doubling the number of best days at work for you and the people on your team. What impact would it have on your business?
Give your business a competitive advantage by unleashing the potential of your people.
Highly engaged employees are involved in, committed to, and enthusiastic about their work, and that leads to higher productivity, higher sales, fewer safety incidents, lower turnover and higher customer satisfaction.

This is one of my favorite testimonials: "Lorraine McCamley has helped me better understand my Strength Themes and put a plan in place to better express these themes. I really like how Lorraine uses her past work experiences and perspectives to provide advice that comes from the 'trenches.' In a world where 'everyone' seems to be a consultant, it is refreshing to work with one who has actually been out in the work force 'taking arrows' and then calling on those experiences to bring the CliftonStrengths tools to life. Thank you Lorraine!" Greg I., business owner

My effective zones:
1. Strategic Operations Management - I am likened to a ship’s rudder, a gatekeeper, a litmus filter. I steer conversations and discussions, and regularly challenge decisions and action plans. However, this is not with intention to be a pain to disrupt or create contention. Rather, it is with the aim to harness collaborative synergy of thoughts and perspectives to arrive at the most appropriate (quality) course of action.
2. Human Entrepreneurship. It is my innate desire to identify, establish and activate a person’s intrinsic potential (a talent scout/director). It is to encourage the individual to develop his/her strengths zones and so become more effective, engaged, and productive at life. Like fire starters, an enzyme binders, I seek out the best in each person, identify their unique talent zones, bring these individuals together and fuse them into high energy teams.
3. Calibrator – Barometer – Pole Vaulter: The images are chosen to reflect my propensity to qualifying work and services from the point of quality and meeting expectations. It is a statement of my commitment to upholding the professional integrity of delivering on quality. Much like a pole-vaulter, there is always another notch higher for the reach. Likewise, there is an inner element which propels me to pursue and bring out the next best in the individual and the organisation.
Life gave me opportunities to work in diverse fields from engineering to sales and marketing; from insurance and banking to retail operation and education.
With more than 20 years of work experiences, I have identified and established that my core effective zone is in harnessing the efficiency and effectiveness of individuals and processes. The outcome of identifying, understanding and empowering personal core effective zones fuels the individual to gain greater confidence in themselves. The collaborative sum of these effective individuals will form a highly effective team.
Certified both a Gallup Strengths and a Prepare-Enrich Coach, contact Eric establish if there is an appropriate match of core competency to help you or your organisation become more effective and productive.

Discovering strengths is the missing piece of the puzzle!
I’ve followed a similar path to make my own discoveries in my search to be more, do more and have more. I’m a Certified Coach and Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming. And in 2015, I was certified in strengths application through Strengths Strategy. Through the process of my own journey, I’ve had amazing shifts in my own life and have been able to connect the pieces to who I really am and what I need in order to be my very best.
After coaching more leaders like you, it has become clear that discovering your talents and strengths is critical to take you to the next level in your business and relationships. And unlocking your potential will increase your energy and confidence and allow you to soar to new heights.
Isn’t it time for you to discover YOUR superhero powers? Let’s work together to create what you want and get you there!

It's Monday morning and instead of being excited for the week, or even excited to get out of bed, you're wishing it was still the weekend. I too have struggled with this feeling but it doesn't have to be that way. I understand what it is like to be in a job you dread...I've been in that exact position! You may think..."the problem is my manager", but sometimes it can be the way we're approaching our job responsibilities.
Allow me to coach you through your StrengthsFinder assessment results and help create a path on how to achieve your goals, whether that is becoming more engaged in your current role or starting to look for positions that align better with your talents. As a coach with Developer in their Top 5, I can see the potential in others and get excited when they overcome challenges. I would love the opportunity to not only be your coach but also your cheerleader!
Jonathan is a fun, quirky character who loves helping people discover their talents and applying them in a productive way to achieve their dreams. Workshop attendees have described his unique blend of professionalism and charisma as captivating and valuable. Jonathan goes above and beyond with all clients, ranging from the organizational level down to the individual. At the end of the day, Jonathan helps you focus on becoming a better version of yourself!
My mission in life is to help individuals to identify their inner talents and their needs, enabling them to achieve their goals in a way that is engaging and fulfilling. I focus on empowering individuals to ask for what they want and to be intentional about their goals, thereby increasing the opportunities to achieve personal, team and ultimately business success.
I use a strengths-based approach; identifying and focusing on an individual’s talents and helping them use what comes naturally to drive business and/or personal success. I know that everyone is unique and to achieve success, each session is customized to the desired outcome.
I grew up in Delaware and lived in Chicago for four years after graduate school. I transferred to San Francisco in 2000 to be closer to my brother. I currently live in San Francisco with my husband, daughter and two cats. I volunteer regularly at my daughter’s school and the SF SPCA. As a former triathlete and runner, I am frequently active and outdoors, enjoying the beauty of the area in which I am so fortunate to live.
Too many people focus on fixing what's "wrong" with themselves, instead of appreciating and leveraging the unique, innate talents they already possess. However, research clearly shows the fastest, most effective path to success is focus on strength, not weakness. So, I guide individuals and teams into their "strengths zone" - their personalized path of greatest potential.
Using the power of CliftonStrengths, we: 1. unlock the unique greatness of each person 2. learn how to build talent into strength 3. leverage those strengths for greater success and overall well-being
MY COACHING PROMISE As your coach, I promise to offer the best of me to help you love your talents as they are, but to love yourself too much to leave them there. Your growth is my goal. Together, we will work to uncover and empower your most authentic self - for your good, and the good of others. I promise.

I grew up in New York City the daughter of two extraordinary parents who worked for IBM their whole careers. My father Baird was a futurist, developer, and thought-leader for the company who spoke for large audiences around the world. I was privileged with an incredible, rich childhood full of diversity, learning and global experiences.
I ventured out to Oregon in 1990 to attend the University of Oregon and my family moved to Portland shortly after. My first job was as a Recruiter for the university using my strength in communication and woo. I gave presentations to high school kids around the country and coached applicants 1:1 in my office on the college admission process. It was exhilarating but paid peanuts!
I stepped up my game and completed a masters degree in organization development moving to Washington DC for the best program. Served as a Strategic Change Consultant for Pricewaterhouse Coopers which I fondly remember as my "finishing school"
Then came a decade of wonderful work inside healthcare back in Oregon. I was very lucky to work for executives who leveraged my strengths as I excelled at coaching and developing leaders/teams and managing large scale systems change. One vivid memory is scrubbing into an open-heart case to build rapport with a surgeon I was coaching! I rose to serve as the Director of Organization Development & Change Consulting for PeaceHealth.
Since then I have popped in and out of organizations since the clear shift to a Gig Economy -gone are the days of 30 year long careers like my folks.
Today I enjoy a blend of internal and external consulting. The opportunity to serve as the Strengths Evangelist for Portland is a real honor and aligns with my personal values and professional practice. I have a group of local Coaches so I can be an excellent matchmaker for different preferences and situations.
I live in NW Portland with my son Will who is in fourth grade and loves to throw the football with me. I enjoy a fantastic life full of athletic pursuits, charitable work, and socializing with loved ones. I have invested in coaches for myself to manage my weaknesses in Health, Finance, and even Dating.
I genuinely love people so look forward to connecting with you!
