INSPIRING AND PREPARING PEOPLE FOR EXTRAORDINARY SUCCESS
For over 20 years, I’ve helped students, teams, and leaders claim what they want, and helped them get it.
During my years in higher education, I was responsible for the design and oversight of strengths-based development programs for faculty, staff, and executive leadership teams. As a regular presenter at national conferences, I shared strategies for the implementation of strengths-based programs and data describing the impact of these programs on key measures of success including retention and student success. In addition, I helped hundreds of individual college students discover and develop their unique talents. These students were retained at higher rates, were more successful in school, and went on to achieve their academic and professional goals.
My focus now is on sharing these proven methods for producing extraordinary success with businesses. I help leaders and teams identify ambitious goals, and align the unique talents of their people with the achievement of these goals. As a result, Individuals become more productive, and teams become more cohesive, focused, and effective. In fact, a recent client predicted a tenfold return on his investment, and this is consistent with research showing that strengths-based coaching leads directly to improvements in key measures of organizational performance including engagement, productivity, and profitability.
I also coach people who are experiencing a big change or challenge in life, and that’s because coaching changed my life. In my early 40s and as a single Mom, I returned to school and earned a Master’s degree. I fell in love with education, earned a Doctoral degree at age 50, and began a new career in higher education. Along the way, I had some other challenges including breast cancer, but today I am healthier and happier than I’ve ever been. Through coaching, the challenges I faced helped me develop my resilience, clarify my goals, and develop action plans that worked.
