INSPIRING AND PREPARING PEOPLE FOR EXTRAORDINARY SUCCESS
I believe that with the right support, challenges can be the perfect catalyst for creating more meaning and success in life. Coaching provides just that type of support through supportive conversations and a focus on what’s next. The process includes 3 parts - clarifying what's most important to you, identifying anything that’s getting in your way, and developing an action plan to help you overcome the obstacles and achieve your goals.
I became a coach because of the great experience I had being coached earlier in my life. In my mid-40’s, and after a challenging divorce, my coach helped me plan the next chapter of my life. With her support and encouragement, I returned to school, earned a graduate degree, and began a new career in higher educatoin. I also got remarried and we’ve recently celebrated our 19th anniversary. Most importantly, through coaching I developed a greater sense of myself and what’s most important to me, and that changed everything!
Recently, life brought me another challenge – breast cancer. Fortunately, after a year of treatment I was cancer-free and every day I am grateful for another opportunity to thrive. My experience with cancer helped clarify what my life is really about and how I want to live it. As a result, I retired from my full-time career so I could focus on helping others turn their challenges into opportunities for greater wellbeing.
Here are 3 things you may want to know about me: 1) I’m the mom in a blended family with 6 young adult children 2) I have 2 coaching certifications and over the past 10 years I’ve coached leaders, teams, students, and people just like you who want more out of life 3) I believe we’re each born with our own unique set of superpowers that can give us just what we want once we’ve decided what that is
If life has thrown you a curve ball, or things have changed around you and you’re not sure what’s next, let’s connect so we can explore whether coaching might be right for you. I’d love to get to know you!
