Upon graduating from Cornell University with a degree in mathematics, I set off on the corporate path with a career that included jobs as a corporate trainer, operations/service manager, and systems designer. Along the way I added an MBA from Hofstra University to my resume. In the early 2000s I took a much needed career hiatus to care for my parents and children and to serve my community. During this time, I did something for me - I completed an MA in Theology at the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception (did I mention "Learner" is one of my strengths?).
After my break from the paid workforce, I decided to embark on a career where I could help people feel good about themselves ("Positivity" is also a strength). I wanted to set people on the path to self-awareness and personal improvement.
I am a Certified Gallup Strengths Coach and College Admissions Coach. I lead workshops and work one-on-one with individuals from high school through retirement helping them identify and leverage their strengths in their personal and professional lives. I also lead workshops and work with businesses and non-profits to build employee/volunteer engagement and increase job satisfaction and productivity.
